Favorite Surah
What is your favorite surah (chapter) of the Quran?
Although I haven't memorized it, my favorite surah is Surah Al-Kahf, The Cave. It contains the story of Prophet Moses (Alaihis Salaam) and Khidr.

surah yaseen. its the "thing" in my family to read it every morning. hopefully ill be able to memorize it in its entirety. i still dont know why desis call it yaseen shareef?
"Shareef" simply means "noble." According to Hadith, Ya Seen is the heart of the Quran. That's probably why they call it "yaseen shareef."
